- In-person requests are limited to a maximum of 10 documents per person, company, or transaction; more than 10 documents must use the Drop Box option (72-hour turnaround).
- Apostilles cannot be presented for use within the United States.
- Non-recordable documents (e.g., powers of attorney, affidavits) must be notarized by a Texas notary; recordable documents (e.g., birth/death certificates, court judgments) must be less than five years old and issued by a state or county official.
- Mail requests must include a prepaid, pre-addressed return envelope or shipping label; handwritten air bills and 'Bill Sender' labels are not accepted.
Once you have the eligible document, GFG can review it, coordinate the apostille process, and arrange tracked return shipping. Additional certification requirements may apply depending on how the document was issued.
