INDIANA APOSTILLE
Apostille Services in Indiana — Fast, Secure, Nationwide
Whether you're moving abroad from Fort Wayne, applying for dual citizenship out of Evansville, or handling a corporate filing from South Bend, Indiana-issued documents need to be apostilled by the Indiana Secretary of State before they'll be accepted overseas. We handle the full process end-to-end. Indiana vital records are held by the Indiana Department of Health, and county-issued birth or marriage certificates may need to be re-issued at state level before the Secretary of State can apostille them.
Service fee includes state filing fees and U.S. domestic return shipping via 2-day FedEx (UPS used for federal documents only). International return shipping available for an additional fee.
No payment required to request a quote. We confirm your document's processing route, total price, and estimated timeline before payment.

STATE AUTHORITY

Indiana requirements to know
- The office no longer distinguishes between apostille and authentication requests, issuing one Model Apostille Single Certificate format for all documents (effective since July 1, 2022).
- The $2 filing fee is waived for Indiana birth and death certificates, adoption documents, and student transcripts/diplomas.
- Requesters should include a self-addressed stamped envelope for return; the office does not provide expedited shipping and recommends customers supply a prepaid expedited-shipping label themselves.
- Federal documents (e.g., FBI background checks, citizenship-related, federal court documents) cannot be apostilled by Indiana and must go to the U.S. State Department instead.
Once you have the eligible document, GFG can review it, coordinate the apostille process, and arrange tracked return shipping. Additional certification requirements may apply depending on how the document was issued.
